Man please. Bad Boy kills careers, name one artist that ever signed to Bad Boy that's had a long, successful career. Don't worry I'll wait...

Death Row was already on it's last legs when Pac died.

Nicki is a laughing stock in the music industry and won't be on top much longer. Tyga is not a fucking powerhouse, he sold 61k in the first week. That's what a powerhouse is nowadays And who the hell is checking for DJ Khaled or Ace Hood?

MMG won't be relevant forever, literally no rap label has ever been on top forever and MMG doesn't have good enough acts to change that. You gotta learn kid.

Eh don't blame BIG's death on Bad Boy

And because Nicki is a laughing stock is the reason she'll survive. And Tyga still has hits.
DJ Khaled still puts together hit songs.

MMG can survive on Ross, Meek, & Wale.

I can honestly say no one in the typical mainstream is checking for Kendrick Lamar either. (I'm a fan). Everyone says he sucks, or just don't know who he is.

Disagreed, can't count how many times I've heard someone play Swimming Pools (Drank). It's his most mainstream song, but still. And no underground artist is going gold or selling 242k first week, Kendrick is about as relevant today as Cole is. Probably more, actually.

I never blamed BIG's death on Bad Boy, I'm just saying no one who's ever been signed to Bad Boy had a long, successful career and we can't just assume Biggie would've had one too because there's been plenty of rappers who had got off to a hot start but then their career fizzled.

No that's not why Nicki will survive. The reason Nicki won't survive is because she the only people checking for her are teenage girls and gay men, no one takes her seriously, she makes crappy, corny pop music and pop rappers never last long. Another sign that Nicki's stock is going down is that her last album didn't get a single Grammy nomination. That is terrible for a mainstream artist, especially one that's supposed to be one of the top rappers in the game.

You are really delusional if you think MMG will be relevant forever. Meek's stock has been going downhill ever since Dreamchasers came out and Wale just isn't popular enough to hold down the label by himself. Wale has some hot songs and he has some buzz, but his album sales say otherwise. Ross will probably be popular for the years to come but that doesn't mean his label will. Jay-Z is still popular, but where is Roc-A-Fella? Diddy is still popular but who's checking for Bad Boy? Lil Wayne is still popular but who's checking for Cash Money?

And Kendrick's album sales say otherwise. You don't sell almost 250k in the first week without having mainstream buzz. It's funny how you call Tyga a rap powerhouse but say no one is checking for Kendrick in the mainstream world when Kendrick sells more than Tyga and the consensus is that his music is much better than Tyga's.

That's just where you live then, likewise where I live and in my school he's really popular. The point is, nobody who is irrelevant goes gold or sells 242k in the first week.

But remember, Biggie made Bad Boy, As long as he's on top, Bad Boy's on top.
Nicki has shock factor. She's always going to be interesting with the teenage audience just because everyone is interested in what she's up to next.
Meek still has hit songs "Amen, Tupac Back, Young & Gettin It, Ima Boss". Again as long as Ross is popular he can keep MMG alive. And Jay-Z is now with Roc Nation.
Diddy is irrelevant, and Wayne is more YM more than CM

Because more people care about songs like Rack City, Faded, & Make It Nasty more than Swimming Pools, & The Recipe.

Tupac Back and Ima Boss are I think a year or two old, and those other two weren't hits.

Swimming Pools charted higher than both Faded & Make It Nasty.

Bad Boy had other artists that were popular before and after Biggie and were still relevant many years after Biggie's death...

Bro, just because Meek had a couple songs that got a lot of radio airplay in the span of a year, doesn't mean he'll be on top for a while. Ross won't be popular forever as well. MMG will die, it's inevitable. It happens to every rap label.

But where is Roc-A-Fella now? Where is Bad Boy now? Where is Death Row now? Where is No Limit now? Where is Murder Inc now? Where is G-Unit now? Where is Cash Money now? YMCMB won't be there for the long run, just like MMG and GOOD Music won't. It's all a cycle, man.

If Tyga's songs are so much more popular than Kendrick's, why did Kendrick sell almost four times as much as Tyga? Btw, Swimming Pools peaked at #3 on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts, better than any single Tyga has ever released. And Swimming Pools also did better on the charts than every track on Meek Mill's album.
