If Pac was alive, he'd probably leave rap. He was already contemplating retiring before he died. He pretty much lost the heart for it, only doing it because of a (in his mind), duty to music.

The only difference I see in wack artists today if Pac was still alive is them being called out about it. The thought of Pac calling Drake a bitch ..... seems so realistic in my mind.

Pac even worked with a wack artist (Big Syke).

He kind of did. As soon as he went to Death Row, he completely changed his persona. He never would have gone down the Snoop Dogg route though.

Becoming more of a "gangsta rap" artist wasn't really going pop. He still retained his street essence and political roots. Hell I would say Me Against The World to Killuminati were probably his best works during his new persona. Old 2Pac was good and all but the guy on 2Pacalypse Now was hardly anyone I would call a legend,

Him changing his persona reflected what he was going through, He felt the world was just getting worse and worse, and turning against him so creating a new persona was his way of retaliating. It's not like he changed for money.

I love how Game's last two albums are just whored out with features and no one actually invites him to feature on anything.

Don't blame em.

Gotdamn. Prior history with each other?

Otherwise that was like the most unnecessary escalation ever. LOL.
