Lil Wayne is probably one of the most overrated rappers of all time. Since the early 2000's, there hasn't been one song by Lil Wayne that has impressed me.

He was tolerable when he was in the Hot Boys. It was all completely downhill after he dropped "Tha Block is Hot." Meaning he got worse. He got more popular somehow, and I'll never understand. Lil' Wayne sucks hard.

Anyone giving Lupe's new album a go? Listening to the first few tracks right now. Not impressed...

Yep. 4Eva N A Day was better. I was a little late on Big K.R.I.T. but the first song I heard was Temptation.

So I've been into battle rap for about a year but not traditionally into hip hop but now trying to properly get into it. Been using I$e's list of his favourites to start but I want some rec's of what people think are the best hip hop albums out there. Help out a hip hop noob here

Yeah, they wanna do features with him because 1)they know he's popular and it might help their track get more looks, and 2)Wayne is wack and won't murder them on their own shit.

since when did that mean that your the best rapper ? it doesn't mean that he is the best it means that he's popular and other rappers are getting advantage of that , kinda like how everyone rode Eminem's dick from 99 to 04

the guy is making garbage , pure and simple

i'm one of those that believe that he's only good album was Carter II , you could make an argument for III and i can understand that , but I find it a bit overrated iMO

the rest , especially from 2010 and on , was pure shit
