It's funny how Dilla gets more love on this song than MED, but man Dilla did outperform MED aswell. His delivery is somewhat boring but gets supported by great producers for some reason.. Whatever, can't hate on that just enyoy the good music..

Here some more Detroit gold.

How would you rank Black Milk's albums? I think AOTY was clearly his best work..Deciding between Tronic & Popular Demand for #2 is tough for me

I think Tronic was definitely his best. AOTY #2, Popular Demand #3.

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread

Tronic is his best album IMO, I loved Try, Long Story Short, Bounce, and a few others on that album. AOTY and Popular demand are tough #2 for me. A few songs on AOTY sounded too similar to me and didn't catch my interest. I remembered around that time where he released Deadly Medley, I marked out on BM for a while. Was quite disappointed on that album due to hype he put on it, that and his Random Axe faction with Guilty Simpson and Sean Price. It just seemed like they didn't even have studio time together. As if Black Milk e-mailed instrumentals to these guys and they rapped over it, no connection between them. I had high standards on that because of Guilty released 'Oj Simpson' with madlib, and it's hard to top off Madlib.

So I guess BM is just plain hit or miss with me, but I still follow him.

I love Eminem, but the more I listen to Slim Shady LP, the more overrated I think it is. It's a good alum but I think Infinite was way better.

By the way, is Whiz Khalifa's O.N.I.F.C. alum any good? I've heard a lot of mix reviews about and and I'm thinking about giving it a try.

Other than the title track, I think Infinite is an awful, awful album. Sonically horrible, and Eminem himself is basically just doing a bad AZ impression. As for O.N.I.F.C., Wiz in general is very love-him-or-hate-him.
