Bought Jesus Piece today, popping it in shortly. I don't care how much of an ass Game's become. He's been one of my favorite rappers for a few years now. I've seen people rank JP as Game's third best album so I have high hopes.

In regards to a comment made stating that, “Waka is 20 times better than Tupac,” the Brick Squad rapper went on to explain that he’s nowhere near the level Tupac was on as an artist, but did reveal that his party music is on par with that of the late rappers.
"If you wanna say I can make party music, yeah I agree. But as an artist, hell no. I’m 20 times worse than Tupac in my opinion. That’s my favorite rapper in the whole world. I don’t think I can never be better than him. I hope one day,” said the rapper.
I don't know how to feel about this. At least he acknowledged that he's nowhere near the artist Pac was. When I think about it though, he's kinda right. How many bangers did Pac really have? 2 Of Amerikka's Most Wanted? California Love? How Do U Want It? While I'd take any of those three over any of Waka's party music, Waka does sort of specialize in that category.
I never got into Waka. Only songs I've ever enjoyed from him were No Hands and Ballin' Out. Only reason I even liked No Hands was because of the hook from Roscoe.
Waka fills his role perfectly IMO. He's not meant to be a lyricist, his songs are just meant to get you hype and want to have fun pretty much. And he fills his role, which is why I don't think he's terrible. Not everybody is gonna be like Nas or Kendrick.
How can you not get hype to his verse on Wild Boy? Especially when the shit's playing in your car and you have some dope speakers.
Btw totally unrelated to Flocka but Harry Fraud's beats are insane. Guy should get way more props than he does.

There's just some artists I don't like, period. Waka's one of them and coincidentally so is MGK so that song never appealed to me. Too much ignorance and yeah that's the point, but I just can't tolerate Waka and honestly there's nothing unique to him. He just reiterates the same message over and over and over with little deviation. Pair that with the endless "BOW BOW BOW, WAKA WAKA WAKA" and it's over.
I'm picky when it comes to party music. I lean more towards Tyga/Future/2 Chainz than anyone else. Other than them, it's mainly just hot singles that I'll bump. Love Sosa, Racks, Cashin' Out, etc.
Edit: Also on an unrelated note, I'm loving how much Wayne doesn't give a fuck anymore. Like it's literally to the point where I'm actually laughing at him.
How is Game's new album? And what did people think of Big Boi's new drop?
Halfway through the 4th track with Cole. Alright so far. I've been browsing shit so I'm kinda half listening right now. I'm gonna give it a second listen through tomorrow as well. Game's already managed to imitate Meek and Ye though. Not surprising.
Don't know if any of yall are into battle rapping but if you are, man this is the battle of the year

Jesus Piece is Game's best album if you replace the wack tracks with Sunday Service ones
Otherwise it's his 3rd/4th best imo
