I hope you mean OB4CL2...
I like that album but it's a 7.5/10 to me. My favorite track is Last Trip to Scotland, by far my most played track from that album.

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread
This thread sometimes... SMH at some of you longing for "prime" Wiz Khalifa like he was ever nice or much different than he is now. ANd the obligatory Eazy E/NWA or Biggie or 2Pac posts every few pages.
This last 6 or 7 months had a lot of good hip hop albums/mixtapes drop, I can't complain at all. My favorites of the year in no order:
Big KRIT- 4 Eva N A Day
Freddie Gibbs- BFK
Prodigy- Put the good tracks off his 3 projects from 2012 together and you have a good album
Currensy- Stoned Immaculate and Priest Andretti
Killer Mike- Rap Music
Kendrick- GKMC
Roc Marciano- Reloaded- This is crack, some of the best MCing i've heard in a while as far as just bars for the sake of bars.
Ross- Put the good tracks off his 3 projects together and you have a great/maybe classic album, he was just a little overexposed
Sean Price- Mic Tyson
Off one listen TI's album was much better than I expected, his best project to me in a while. I like that he switched up the production on this from the sound of his last few. Big Boi and Game sounded good from what I heard from their albums.
LB, what'd you think of Reloaded? It's a different type of album from his first to me, the production doesn't bang like some of those tracks did, but lyrically it's even better imo. Wee Ill especially. I've had it on repeat.

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread
I doubt Prodigy had even close to a good album if you combine tracks off his 3 projects. As soon as HNIC 3 came out, I was done checking for him. Then the Havoc diss came out and I knew it was over for his (and Havoc's) careers.

If you like anything prodigy's done since HNIC, then there's a good album between HNIC 3 mixtape, HNIC 3, and the Bumpy Johnson Album

^ had this on repeat when it dropped
HNIC 3 album was far from a good album but it would take a lot for me to top checking for him. He has an album produced 100% by Alchemist dropping next month that will redeem him.

I know Cole & Kendrick are supposedly coming out with an album together but Cole & K.R.I.T. are the perfect fit together and I would much rather have those two drop an album than Cole & Kendrick.

K.R.I.T.'s style is waaaay more similar to Outkast than Cole. Don't really see the comparison tbh. Plus J Cole tries to be a punchline rapper and fails at it miserably.

Talent/charisma draws. Not size.

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread
Agreed, Cole seems like a try-hard imo.
Brian, you diss Wiz (Which is understandable, never liked him to begin with) then go on and list two Currensy projects as some of the best in 2012.. I don't check for Currensy, so I really don't know anything about him but from what I understand he's affiliated with Wiz. Is he really that much better/different than Wiz?

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread
Curren$y is better than Wiz. Always has been. Wiz peaked with How Fly and Kush & Orange Juice. Meanwhile Curren$y is still going strong, dropping two mixtapes and an album each year and still making dope music.

Reloaded is dope. I haven't had the chance to play it a lot yet, but it's definitely a good album. Yeah, it doesn't quite have that vibe that last album did, maybe not as many standout songs(Ridin Around and Snow were some of the best of that year), but it's a good, solid rap album. I like the way he raps, I'm a fan.
