Trae is not a prospect. Guy has been rapping since the 90's, he's just not well-known outside of the Texas/the south. He's a regional rapper. Why would Luda & Jeezy sign to T.I.'s label when they have their own labels? Scarface is never leaving Rap-A-Lot and Outkast isn't gonna sign to Grand Hustle. K.R.I.T. doesn't need to sign to Grand Hustle, it would be pointless. It's too late for him to try to sign K.R.I.T., he should've got him when he was unsigned.

As for Meek, I don't think he's over-hyped but I do think he's been a disappointment. In 2011, Meek was spitting fire. His mixtape, Dreamchasers was great. His songs on the MMG album were pretty good, his features were pretty good. In 2012 it seems as if Meek has taken a step back to me. Dreamchasers 2 was pretty average to me. As far as his album goes, initially I didn't like it but after a second and third listen I've started to enjoy it.

I don't think it's his flow as much as it's the fact that 50 can't sing and 50 is singing.

I'd rather not see KRIT end up like B.o.B. or Young Dro lol

Talent/charisma draws. Not size.

How would he have more mainstream fame by signing with Grand Hustle?

B.o.B. is a borderline pop rapper as far as his mainstream work goes, and hasn't done much of anything since his album was released two years ago. Young Dro was a one-hit wonder who's been irrelevant for 6 years. Yung L.A. had two hot songs on the radio at one point "Ain't I" & "Futuristic Love" and his album has still yet to come out. How many people know Meek Mill was signed to Grand Hustle before he signed with MMG? How many people cared about Meek Mill when he was with Grand Hustle?

The dopest rapper currently signed to Grand Hustle is Killer Mike and he gets little to no promotion.

I really don't see how K.R.I.T. could have more mainstream fame by signing to Grand Hustle. His best bet is to hopefully go the J. Cole/Kendrick/Mac Miller route if it's not too late.

T.I. is still a big name but maybe you're right.

T.I. the person is still well-known and popular.

His music at this point in career....let's put it like this: People aren't checking for T.I. anymore. I used to be a fan of T.I. but his music since he got released from jail two years ago has been mediocre.

Trouble Man is turning out to be good, He's starting to improve as a lyricist.

He's retiring anyway.

I'm 3/4 through listening to "Unexpected Victory" by Raekwon. He dropped this mixtape on New Years Day this year, had no idea. It's dope so far, dare I say it might be Chef's 3rd best solo project ever
