He's made countless references to selling his soul in songs...and there's been a few images & such in a few videos (i.e. Run This Town) that seem to promote I guess you can say "Ungodly" things..
But I bet someone around here has a more extensive answer for you..
many artists do that on purpose because they know people are interested in the "illuminati" shit, and them putting it on a record will boost buys and create controversy thus more money more buzz and more exposure for the artist
it's not that rappers actually sell their souls, it's that people are too damn stupid that artists are actually using that in marketing

you could argue that Suge had part in Big's death the following year, hell even Eazy-E's death, there was a clip for Suge in the tonight show were he was talking about how people got shot with AIDS infested needles, then he went all "some crazy Eazy-E shit" and laughed about it
it makes a guy wonder considering that Eazy got full blown aids in less than 3 months (which is impossible) and no one in his family of friends contracted it, including his pregnant wife and her baby
What I find creepy here is one of the interludes on Snoop's Doggystyle album. Daz & company talk shit about Eazy, Luke and so on and then before it moves on to the track, they end it with "pussy ass HIV having ass niggaz" right after name-dropping Eazy.
Rap from the late 80s until 96/97 was awesome. All the controversy, good music, etc... My favorite controversial thing is 2 Live Crew and their battles with the law, though.

Yeah, Biggie, Cube & Pac were like the Rock, HHH & Austin of Hip-Hop respectively.

yeah, even Daz goes all "Eazy come, Eazy go" after that line .. makes a guy wonder
speaking of the 2 Live Crew, anyone remembers this :
terrible beat, terrible flow, but one of the funniest disses made

In what terms? In terms of success... Well, I guess that's a possible answer. I'd be more inclined to put in Dr. Dre than Cube though. In terms of ability? 2Pac does not fit in with those two at all. He can't hang with either one.

Nah. Cube was on top in a different era than those 2 so they didn't overlap like that. And yeah it was only by a few years, but back then that was huge in hip hop.
