Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread
Speaking of Big Boi, just checked the features. Another Big Boi solo, another Andre 3000 no show. Man, what the fuck.

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread
Big Boi said a couple months ago that Andre doesn't want to do any collaborations with Big Boi unless it's an Outkast album.
According to Big Boi they were both supposed to appear on Frank Ocean's album together on the track Pink Matter but Dre didn't want to have both of them on there for the reason above so it ended up being just Andre.

I enjoyed every track on Cole World, Can't Get Enough and Work Out fill their roles, has to appeal the mainstream audience in some way. Still, I'd take Can't Get Enough or Work Out over Bait.

Cole World? I can play the whole album outside of Can't get Enough and Work Out.

Don't forget Don't Hold Your Applause
You know seeing this Wale-Cole discussion kind of makes me wish they would do a collabo album. Way more chemistry between the two than Cole-Kendrick

I didn't, didn't like that track from what I remember. I might give it a listen again soon

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread
Cole & Kendrick have only released one song together and that was with another rapper too while Cole & Wale have multiple songs together so it's easier to say Wale & Cole have better chemistry.
A Cole & Wale album would be dope but I prefer Cole & Kendrick. And from what I've heard, Cole & Kendrick have some heat they've recorded together that they've yet to release.

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread
Those songs haven't been released officially, Kendrick just played them one time at some type of event and people recorded it. Plus those songs were unmastered at the time.
Cole & Kendrick have only been on two official songs together: They Ready on DJ Khaled's album along with Big K.R.I.T. and the remix to I'm On by Trae Tha Truth which features like 10 other rappers.
