From my experience in forums, 50 was the guy that "killed" hip-hop back in 2006/2007 before Curtis was being dropped. I was a fan so I went in defending him while everyone else was mocking me. So I'm not so sure about people holding him in the same regard as Biggie or others who died prematurely.
People hated on Pac n B.I.G. when they were alive too tho

My favorite Master P song....though really for the hook and the Pimp C verse......and for the comedy of Silk The Shocker possibly rhyming off beat more than he ever had at one point in his verse(and that's saying something 'cause he was always off beat).
