I think you're overstating his part on Eaxy's album a bit, I'm pretty sure D.O.C. wrote a lot of that too. But still. And you didn't mention Kill At Will, which was an oustanding EP and has some of his best songs, and only adds to all that you named. Early Cube can't be faded.

I think the reason Pac & BIG are also considered the GOATs is also is because of their competition. BIG was being claimed King of NY right after Nas came out with Illmatic.

And with Pac, to the masses he was the guy that drafted himself to the West and stole Cube's title of King from him. Granted that was mostly due to the feud but still.

Why Pac & BIG are considered by many to be the two GOATs comes down to one reason: They died at the height of their popularity.

Now I'm not saying they're not great rappers or that they aren't deserving but it's just my opinion as to why those two are usually the go-to guys for some when it comes to the GOAT.

I agree with what was said earlier on this page about if Ice Cube died in '95, he'd get the same treatment as Pac & BIG. I mean hell, look at Big L. Let's be honest, he never did much while he was alive but after he died, he's now considered by many to one of the greatest ever.

From my experience in forums, 50 was the guy that "killed" hip-hop back in 2006/2007 before Curtis was being dropped. I was a fan so I went in defending him while everyone else was mocking me. So I'm not so sure about people holding him in the same regard as Biggie or others who died prematurely.
