So apparently Cube stole rhymes from Cypress Hill/B-Real or had them write for him or some shit? My brother's sitting here trying to tell me and I'm not finding any evidence to support that. Cube's always wrote his own material. He practically wrote Straight Outta Compton.
The hook on "Friday" from Ice Cube......B-Real claimed that Cube jacked it from the Cypress Hill song "Throw your Set in the Air". Supposedly B-Real had let Cube hear the new Cypress Hill album before it came out and Cube wanted to use that song on the Friday Soundtrack. B-Real didn't let him because it was going to be a single for Cypress Hill.....so Cube recorded Friday for the soundtrack and used a smilar hook to "Throw Your Set in the Air", and B-Real got mad.
so which diss did you guys thought was harder ? King of the Hill or Ice Cube Killa ?
both were great but I think Cube's version was harder, doesn't make Cypers Hill's bad, I like how Shag nailed Cube's voice perfectly

Sure, he's big, and is always gonna have an audience, but he's far from Jay or Em. I'm tempted to say even Drake n Kanye have both overtaken him at this point.
Maybe skill wise, but right now none of them are selling a million in the first week, which Wayne is doing.
Eminem is a sell out to me now...doing songs with Lil Wayne, Drake,Rihanna and Pink..it's just odd. He always has to praise Lil Wayne and Drake in every interview, it's pathetic. Eminem is far bigger than Lil Wayne and Drake, it's pretty hard to sell like 5 million copies of a CD now but Eminem did that with Recovery.
Recovery was selling like 10-15k a week in September/October of '11. It just kept quietly stacking up numbers.
I also don't believe he's a top 10 rapper. Had another argument with my brother today and I've concluded he's just an idiot. He put Em over Cube and claimed Cube wasn't even top 10. He also regarded Kendrick as an Andre 3000 ripoff, LOL, because he heard the intro of "Dying Of Thirst". He's 24 so Em was the centerpiece of his childhood so that's probably why. Also tried telling me a Nas/Em/Cassidy/Game supergroup would destroy anybody. LMAO
