Lyrically, it was a great mixtape. I didn't really care for the beats on this mixtape, they weren't bad but they weren't great. Lyrically though, Joey did great. Especially for a 17 year old. My favorite track from the mixtape:

They said it's coming out after Cole's sophomore album is released which is 90% done.

Cole's album sold around the same, if not more than Kendrick's album is expected to.

How? Cole is a mainstream star who will boost Kendrick's fame.Add that to the fact he's a good rapper. Hate to be Devil's Advocate here, but an album with Cole would do way more for Kendrick's career than a Black Hippy album could.
