-Nicki pisses you off when she raps? That's what she's better at! She pisses me off making mostly awful and obnoxious pop music. She could make a solid rap album. Her mixtapes a few years back had some good moments, and she has killed some guest spots over the years. Look at "Monster" off Kanye's album.....she had the best and hardest verse. I wish she'd just make a 100% rap album where she's spitting hard through the whole thing. That's all she's good at, but she's getting that rich, white kid money in that pop/Lady Gaga lane, so that's probably where she'll stay.
Her voice is irritating. Years ago with Gucci & Brick Squad, she had potential and easily could have been the next top female hip hop star. Then, she went to Young Money and became nothing more than a gimmick, sort of like Lady Gaga, except Nicki is setting a bad example for the younger generation of females. Shame that she was the second, possibly third best rapper of Brick Squad, which is/was a group of over 15 rappers. Now, she's just a gimmick thats getting the Gaga money. More power to her and I have no problem with it, I just avoid her music (except for Right Thru Me & Make Me Proud, loved them songs).
As for Chris Brown making better songs, it depends on who you ask. In reality, Brown falls in the same category as Bieber, as both are on the same top 40 pop playlists. And IDK WTF kobra is talking about, Bieber is more hated than Chris Brown. CB is still doing good because he eventually grew up and took another path with his music. Yeah, he beat Rihanna, has celebrities questioning him but his albums still sell and he still wins awards. Bieber got kicked off the BET Hip Hop Awards for having a pre written verse in a cypher, the same cypher involving 2 Chainz (who isn't a lyrical rapper) and also promotes a freestyle battle contest, that constantly uses pre written rhymes.
Bieber is just getting a raw deal. The fact that Eminem used the n-word and admitted it, Chris Brown beat a woman and the off the wall shit Kanye has did and said over the years and their still popular, shows that Bieber is simply hated for his image and appearance, more so than his talent. He's the John Cena of pop music, gets the blame for everything wrong, despite the fact that music was going downhill before he even started.
Then again, what do I know, I love rap. I don't believe in criticizing somebody like Bieber but allow myself to enjoy Pitbull, Flo Rida or One Direction.
