Loaded Lux just won battle rap completely, Dizaster is KOTD champ, Canibus battled and ruined everything, that's pretty much the major goings on right now.

Mook/Iron Solomon happened but they were both awful so don't watch it.

There's been some absolute classics since GT flopped, I'll update some when I'm not at work. But Lux/Calicoe was the one to watch, its entering viral/lexicon stages of popularity. All first round, all first round.

If Lux spat all three of his rounds, it's actually comfortably the best performance in the history of battle rap.

But he didn't, so it's not.

Still, that third verse is probably my favourite ever at this point.

It's a shame Lux choked cause like you said, it would have been a GOAT performance.

Rewatched Bender vs Sketch again, I remember all the discussion was who'd be no.1 contender after the champ walked it. SM with the chain was crazy.

I don't care that Lux choked in the first. Everything about that performance was GOAT and not just on stage.

The whole setup with the hurst, the eulogy, the suit, the casket.

Then on stage with the mannerisms and facial expressions and pulling a Jay with the instagram pic

and that third verse...

Even with the choke, his first is still better than most peoples full rounds. Good for Calicoe that he spat probably his best verse ever.

I maintain is was a bodybag at the end of the day though.

That was the Syd battle right? Scheme was ridiculous. The whole thing zipped Vicious up but that part alone would have won it for him.

Lux's props were something that wouldn't have been awarded to almost anyone else, and didn't add to it for me. He came with such strong material that distractions were unnecessary. Still makes me laugh, if the 2nd round was "all first", he was writing a ten minute plus opening round.
