While not the commercial success of BSSM, almost any song on Mother's Milk could have been a single. I also hold a little bitterness as the mainstream seemed to latch onto the Chili's on the back of BSSM, but in fairness it really is a great record.

Maybe, but if one were to look up any of the major top rock/hard rock albums lists Superunknown seems to be the one hailed.

I'd probably split things up. Farrell and Navarro >>> Kiedas and Frusciante. Flea and Smith >>> Perkins and Avery.

Nah, the who are one of the best live acts of all time (See their shows from the mid to late seventies, that's how it's done).

GNR had 1 good album & a not-so-double album full of bullshit filler (excluding the good singles). They then concluded with a cover album.

Second one is true, needs more >'s though (we're just talking first era Janes here of course).
However I find Fruisciante a far more interesting guitarist and all round artist than Navarro who hasn't done anything decent in years, not even a RHCP fan but his solo stuff and collaborations are usually worth a listen, also he seems like a nice humble music obsessed dude whereas Dave seems a total twat self parody at this stage.

Agree with this too, shame that Di'anno is such a deadbeat nowadays.
Brian Johnson was an awesome singer on his first 2 or 3 ACDC albums then seemed to lose it completely, still good live and a cool dude but Bon will always be the king.

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. I know so many people who's musical taste I agree with nearly completely that love this band. So many musicians I respect and listen to cite them as being a band they love. I've tried, and just can't get past the fact that every record of theirs ranges from boring to just plain bad.

I've gotten over my strong dislike of them, now everyone's stopped talking about them all the time (do we really need to listen to Lateralus every time we're high? fs) but I still can't understand why they're as revered as they are.
