Or are you talking about those guys that comment on youtube videos and say if Pac/Biggie were alive, Ross/Wayne/etc would be working at McDonalds or saying hip Hop is dead, i miss that 06-07 era while posting on a Yung Joc - Its Goin Down video etc.

I'm my opinion Dehumanizer >>> Heaven And Hell >>> Mob Rules.
Dehumanizer is one of the most heavier and doom shits i have ever hear.
And if you ask me the only real bad album Iommi has made is Forbidden

Somebody that I used to know by Gotye and Kimbra is hugely overrated. I don't understand how people like that song.
|
I think some like it cuz it's kinda odd.

Limp Bizkit was and still is awesome.

Might have to explain that one.

As much as I love Tupac and Biggie and how much influence they had on Hip-Hop back in the 90's, anybody who seriously thinks that they are the best rappers ever are probably wannabee Hip-Hop junkies who don't know a thing about Hip-Hop. The best rappers ever should be between Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, or KRS 1, the innovators of the game.

Eminem's music isn't aging too well and this is coming from a big Eminem fan.

Not sure how well it has aged, but I personally think he sucks now. The Eminem Show was his last great album IMO.

You might even be right. It was an ill timed release in that it was on the cusp of grunge (I hate that word). I was all about Soudgarden, Melvins and AIC so Dehumanizer got shunted to the back and never really revisited. I certainly didn't think it sucked or anything though.
As for Iommi, I'd even go so far as to say 'he played well' on Forbidden, similarly any other record. That doesn't make it good/bad though. I can honestly say I'm not a big fan of any of the Martin fronted work.

John Lennon sucked. As i'm fond of telling TLK, Mark David Chapman did the world a favor.

Its not the worst album hes ever made, i'd say that honor goes to Working on a Dream but its in my bottom 3 which is a shame since its easily his most popular/what hes known for.

Re: Unpopular Music Opinions
Springsteen is overrated, not that he is bad or anything, but i don't jizz over him like a lot of people seem to do.
Tool isn't that good either. everytime i hear them i'm like "meh" except for Skizism and The Pot, those are good songs.

I think the beats of 2Pac and Biggie are usually very boring, I'm just not a fan of that type of hip-hop. ICP has some really good songs with good music and good messages, unfortunately most people don't even give them a chance and blindly hate on them. (not saying you are one of those, just putting that out there)

Hopsin is actually, especially his old shit before he started rapping about drugs being bad etc.. And I ment I usually listen to underground artists. I didn't say they had the same style.
