^Awesome. I've got the whole album on my iPod now.

Anyone watching VH1? They're doing a 40 greatest R&B songs of the 90's program, they're on #10 now.

I missed it but I'll watch the replay.

EDIT - Watched it. The comments from the guests were mostly silly as it usually is with these VH1 programs but I enjoyed reminiscing on some of my favorite groups like Boyz II Men, Guy, and Silk.

Boyz II Men songs like End of the Road, It's So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday, On Bended Knee, and One Sweet Day still can draw a tear or two from me today. My girl Mariah Carey got some love on the list which was great. Another one of my favorites ever. She was pop mixed with r&b but I'd say it's OK to count her. Plus there was r&b mixed with hip hop (Bone Thugs N Harmony) on the list as well. Surprised Destiny's Child, Dru Hill, Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, D'Angelo, or Maxwell didn't make the list at all.

I'm mad Ginuwine and Aaliyah never did a video to this song. It would have been HOT.

Missy is mainly known for her rapping but she can sing too. She was also smart to have good harmonies in the background from girls like 702, Lil' Mo, Tweet, etc.

Here's Missy with Beyonce

I dunno if the dude was a one-hit wonder or not, but Shai's If I Ever Fall in Love is a classic.

So glad I found this thread. Listened to alot of good stuff the last hour and I remember some of it from when I played little league, oddly enough. We were a sad team.

Boyz II Men were fucking awesome though.

This stuff reminds me of SISTER SISTER.

Anybody remember Riff?

One of my favorite covers/remixes ever. An iconic Isley Brothers song, and one of my favorites, injected with 90's R&B goodness.

I don't remember them but they do sound good covering the record. I prefer The Isley Brother's version (Ron has that swag like no other) but Riff did their thing.

Shai had a remix to that song too. It's the same lyrics. They just have a beat to it instead of it being acapella. It's tough to judge whether they were a one hit wonder. They had a couple other singles from that album that were on radio/song charts at the time but none of them were as big.
