EDIT - Watched it. The comments from the guests were mostly silly as it usually is with these VH1 programs but I enjoyed reminiscing on some of my favorite groups like Boyz II Men, Guy, and Silk.
Boyz II Men songs like End of the Road, It's So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday, On Bended Knee, and One Sweet Day still can draw a tear or two from me today. My girl Mariah Carey got some love on the list which was great. Another one of my favorites ever. She was pop mixed with r&b but I'd say it's OK to count her. Plus there was r&b mixed with hip hop (Bone Thugs N Harmony) on the list as well. Surprised Destiny's Child, Dru Hill, Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, D'Angelo, or Maxwell didn't make the list at all.
Spoiler for Santa Claus, Go Straight To The Ghetto:

Shai had a remix to that song too. It's the same lyrics. They just have a beat to it instead of it being acapella. It's tough to judge whether they were a one hit wonder. They had a couple other singles from that album that were on radio/song charts at the time but none of them were as big.
