Reminiscent of Prince and The Revolution. Ironically enough, I'm not too crazy about the simplistic beat of "Primetime". It should be a grower, however, so I'm confident that I'll end up warming up to it after a few listens.

The new Foreign Exchange album, Love in Flying Colors, is dropping on Sept. 24. I can't wait. It's funny their albums always drop in the fall, and the music fits the season perfectly. Probably my favorite R&B act of the last decade. Never seen them mentioned here before I don't think, are y'all up on them? Here's a few of my favorite tracks from them.

Yeah I listen to Foreign Exchange, became a fan of Phonte from his music Little Brother work and soon found out that he had an R&B act.

My favorite song from them is Something to Behold which you just posted but I also love All That You Are from their first album together, Connected although it's more of a rap track than R&B.

Great artwork, really digging it.

Have this on repeat at the moment. They should make a movie using the film clip as inspiration to be honest.

She should have known better. She's not much of a star. A much smaller venue in the US would have been suitable.

Poe thang. She must have thought this was still 1998; even then she might not have filled an entire stadium. But only 40 people in all of South Africa showed up?

Who handled the booking of this event? lol Still, she should have given those 40 people who did come to see her a show even if it is incredibly embarrassing the concert was in a near empty stadium.

Silk

Have their tracks on rotation right now:

Here's an uptempo. I still dig the new jack swing sound. Some people say it sounds dated like disco but whatever.

Remember earlier in the thread we were talking about groups with the killer vocals and harmonies? Please don't leave Silk out of the discussion.

Marvin Gaye's family is suing Robin Thicke over Blurred Lines right?

Yeah I hope they win.
