What do you guys think about the TLC biopic?

I'm pretty skeptical about Lil Mama playing Left Eye but I'll give it a watch when it comes out, it's a made for TV movie that'll air on VH1 I think, so I won't have high expectations going into it.

Meh. Lil Mama is no buys. I may check it out though.

Haha. Mint Condition was a pretty big deal back then. That song came on last week and my dad was like "boy what you know about that". Little does he know I have a lot of old school R&B on my iPod.

You send me Swingin' is a classic. What kind of man would I be might be my favorite song from them.

My mom had the same reaction when she found out I had a lot of old school R&B on my iPod. She asked to listen to some of my music and the song that I was just listening to was How Deep Is Your Love by Keith Sweat and she gave me a puzzled look like "What you listening to this for? This before y'all time, you don't know nothing 'bout this"

The name Send Me Swingin' sounds real familiar, I'll probably recognize that one if I heard it.

LOL, that's dope.

Mint Condition still makes good music. They don't really get much attention or have any hits in awhile, but that's because they don't fit into what's "hot". The music is still good.

I need to listen to some of Tony Toni Tone`, I don't think I've ever heard a song from them. Maybe I have but I don't remember any song titles or any lyrics. I know of Raphael Saadiq and some of his solo work, but don't know much of the group. Really all I know of the group is that my mom and all her friends go to their concerts every time they're in Houston.

I'll probably check out the albums that you guys named.

Check out:

Anniversary
Whatever you want
It never rains in Southern California
Slow Wine

From there you can get deeper into their albums if you choose.

Great song.

Yeah, I give the edge to Revival because of their hits, Whatever You Want and It Never Rains in Southern California are my favorites. But Sons of Soul was an outstanding album too. I love House of Music too, that just didnt quite have the amazing singles like the previous two albums did. Still very good album though.

I liked the Lucy Pearl album that Saadiq did with Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Dawn from En Vogue too. Great summer album for me.

You probably have, they had a lot of big singles.

It Never Rains in Southern California
Feels Good
Whatever You Want (Luda used that on Splash Waterfalls remix)
If I had No Loot
Anniversary
Lay Your Head on My Pillow
Slow Wine
Lets Get Down f/ DJ Quik

They're a pretty easy group to get into IMO. And yeah, they still tour but Saadiq's not involved.

The first song I listened to was It Never Rains in Southern California and I immediately recognized it

Whatever You Want sounds familiar as well. Really enjoying it though, my type of R&B song.

I'm not going to get too excited about it but I will definitely watch because TLC is my group. I just recently saw some pictures and KeKe Palmer does remind me of Chilli. Not sure about the other two.

Also, chillin with my headphones right now listening to "I Still Love You" by 702
