re: R&B Thread

I hated that Blame It on the Alcohol song. Hated it, absolutely hated it. I didn't like that Intuition album that much really.

I liked "Unpredictable" though, especially the title track and "Do What it Do." Jamie has great vocals I agree and is better suited with the slower songs. Underrated IMO.

Agreed. When Jamie first came out with Unpredictable, some people acted like him stepping into music was a new thing when it wasn't. He made an album in like 94. "If you love me" is a song I have on my iPod from that album. Plus he sung regularly in his standups dating back to this one in 93:

Hell, I remember him singing on the Jamie Foxx Show in the 90's.

Yea but Mike lip synced when he got older, but back in those Thriller/Bad days when he was in his prime he would tear some shit up lol.

But idk why the younger performers tend to lip sync tho.

It's more about creating a "production" or elaborate set with a bunch of choreography in most of these pop star performances than singing live. But let's be real here, the amount of dancing a Chris Brown or even an Usher does in their performances it would be extremely difficult to sing live and actually breath while doing all of that dancing and I mean dancing hard. I have a bunch of respect performers like Beyonce and Tina Turner because she gives the people a show with dancing bit not so much that she can't deliver a great live vocal performance too.

Agreed, "Blame It on the Alcohol" was terrible, but......it provided us with this hilarious moment of Jeff Van Gundy attempting to sing it on the air. I remember watching this game and I fell out laughing at this.

Yeah, I really like about 75% of that album. The end of Love Stoned was great.

re: R&B Thread

JT did his thang in that performance Headliner. Some performers can pull it off and I have admiration for the ones who can.

I really like this duet Justin did with Beyonce:
