I love Prince's Sign o the Times and Stevie Wonder's Songs in the Key of Life.

But I generally agree with that statement about double/multiple disc albums.

Not a big Prince fan to be honest but love Stevie. Songs in the Key of Life top 10 one of my favorite albums ever, all genres included.

Anyone else hear listen to classic R&B? Like Stevie, Luther, Marvin, Teddy, etc.

I love Luther Vandross (or Lu-tha as my grandma calls him) and all those guys you mention. James Brown/JBs and Earth, Wind & Fire are my bands. I love classic R&B, Soul and Funk music. That's my genre. Temptations, Stylistics, etc. I love it.

The Temptations!!!

Yeah my grandma listens to that stuff all day, everyday. I grew up listening to it.

Another one she loves is The Isley Brothers.

Earth Wind & Fire are the greatest funk band of all time, period. P-Funk are a close second.

I consider myself a child of Da Funk. My uncle introduced me to a lot of the funk bands that he grew up listening to during his day, especially groups like the Barkays and Con Funk Shun

Renamed the thread title. I'm a Luther, Marvin and Teddy P fan.

This song sounds really good in a stereo. I've seen older people dance to this song.
