re: Classic R&B Thread

I don't know if any of these were already posted but here are 2 songs same name different artists though the artists have the same last names (no I'm not that dumbass that thinks there is a connection between the 2,lol):

Fine I'll just type them because apparently I'm too remedial to embed the videos on here from Youtube. Christopher Williams-"Dreamin" and Vanessa Williams-"Dreamin".

I'll get to the point this time, I want the Legend Killer back. *sad face*

re: Classic R&B Thread

Vanessa Williams Dreamin is a regular on my iPod! And I was just listening to Chris Williams I'm dreamin the other day.

I fixed your videos. Next time you want to post a youtube video, take the text after the = sign in the link. Then you're going to use these tags (without the *): [*youtube] [*/youtube]

So if the link is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORva1mGyyJ0

Take everything after the equal sign, put it in the youtube tags and it will come out like this:

Mint Condition was underrated btw.

re: Classic R&B Thread

Thanks so much! Actually I just edited it to where I just typed the names of the songs, but I'll make sure to do that next time.

re: Classic R&B Thread

Brian McKnight has smooth as butter vocals but I was lmao at his upcoming song singing "Let Me Show You How Your Pussy Works" because I didn't expect it from a "clean" artist like him (and at his age). When I first saw the title I figured that would be something R. Kelly would produce but I think Brian did the song to show he can perform the raunchy songs too. Love those songs posted and his "Whenever You Call" duet with Mariah Carey.

re: Classic R&B Thread

I was so mad at Brian McKnight when he made that song. That type of song is way out of his league, out of his personality, out of his demographic, just out of everything. It was like he had some horny dream and thought he could make money off it if he put it in a song.

It totally came out of nowhere for Brian and I think you're right about him just trying to get paid going in this direction.

What does everyone think of Jamie Foxx as a singer? His voice is smooth and I can hear some soul through his vocals.

He would sing on his TV show from time to time and he even released an album in the 90's

My favorite songs from Peep This are:

Funny you mention him Clique because he was next on my list to mention. Honestly one of the best soulful voices I've heard.

^From his comedy show back in like 93.

re: Classic R&B Thread

If I remember straight, Jamie's original plan was to become a singer. I actually find him to be a better musician than comedian, honestly.

The IWC has a bad reputation. Are you a part of the problem, or the answer?
