Chaka is one of the few people I will agree covered a Prince song better than the original ("I Feel For You"). TLC also did a good job on "If I Was Your Girlfriend" from their CrazySexyCool album.

Speaking of covers, Beyonce does a cover of Anita Baker's "Sweet Love" in a medley of her own songs here:

Blue light gives the room a really relaxing feel. Maybe I'm just a geek like that.

Any Musiq Soulchild fans? I know he's not really considered classic R&B but I enjoy listening to his music.

I liked his first album a lot. 2nd album I liked too. After that I lost interest....didn't really like SoulStar, then he kind've went away and I forgot about him, and I haven't heard any new music from him in a long time. Have no idea what he's done recently, the last thing I remember was B.U.D.D.Y.

Girl Next Door, Love, Just Friends, and Don't Change all got heavy play from me at one point.

His album Luvanmusiq that he dropped in 07 was solid, that was the album that B.U.D.D.Y. and Teachme were on.

Haven't heard any of his albums since that though, think he released one in 08 but have never heard it, only his main single from the album with Mary.
