I love early C-I, but I keep forgetting that I really like post-hiatus C-I too. That EP in particular is really good.

Yeah that song is good, I like the end section from 1.07ish most. The guitar feels like it could do with being higher in the mix and the vocals maybe a little lower, but that's really personal preference. If they get anything else up

Suitably filthy sounding and spindly riffs, I dig it.


This week Ive been loving Black Magician - Nature is the Devils Church.

Pretty straight doom from Liverpool in the Electric Wizard/ Rev Bizarre style with maybe a little more mallice, very Cathedral-like vocals which ive never been crazy about but whatever. The thing that puts this over the top is the addition of a really tastefully used Hammond organ, ive heard doom bands use organs before but never integrating it this naturally.

Yeah, downloaded it asap when I saw that on Facebook. Short, tho.

In Rainbows is growing on me lately. Killer album.

Good track overall. Like the second half more. Also agree with the mixing.

Went to a Dubliners concert yesterday. Good show. John Sheahan recited poems that he wrote for all the members that passed away. That was nice to see.
