yep, liking this too, Together Through Life was a little dull, but the trilogy before that are probably my favourite Dylan albums ever, this one is right back on track, Bob is unfuckwithable.

Don't do playlists either. This is a small sample of how my foobar2000 is set out. It scrolls on for an eternity.

Part of the 'O' section.

Re: i$e's Magical Music Megapost

My library and last.fm are so unrepresentative, its only really music I don't own physically, usually either vinyl or tape. Do have shitloads of CDs but don't often listen to them. Even then its mostly on my mp3 player.

I don't really do playlists either, I tend to listen to complete records.

I am currently listening to We Are The Romans which is always nice.

Re: i$e's Magical Music Megapost

I'm sort of the opposite. I prefer individual songs as opposed to albums. There are very, very few full albums I enjoy.

I just cut all the songs I don't really listen too off my albums on iTunes and i'm down to 1100 songs. Need a play through of Hurry Up, We're Dreaming by M83, chop off the songs I don't like, and then i'm done. Didn't even bother listening through Temper Trap's self titled as the first few songs were below par (sorry josh).

That playlist was just a standard favourite songs list, surely some of you have them?

Re: i$e's Magical Music Megapost

nope, i pick out my favourite songs from itunes and listen to them. i have full albums, i can't pick and choose songs from albums and delete the rest because it feels wrong.

Re: i$e's Magical Music Megapost

since the last 2 or 3 years at least, i mostly used MP3s to take a first listen of albums and then buying them if the listen is worthy. That or to carring music outside in the I-pod/Wathever.

I don't do Playlist now because i want to listen music in the context, is great to listen an album an put attention at the order of the themes for example.

I was recently thinking I should listen to that record again. Great album.

Lost Ground is still blowing me away after all this time. Can't think of many EPs that are this good.

Re: i$e's Magical Music Megapost

Gonna spin Lost Ground again. Probably been a year since I last listened to it.

It's probably the best EP ever. I can only think of a few others that can come close. Irony is a Dead Scene and Coloring Book are both amazing too.
