Re: i$e's Magical Music Megapost

Maybe one for the unpopular musical opinions thread but -

You Fail Me >>> Jane Doe

No Heroes has a few good tunes, Axe to Fall was cool but no staying power in that album, always a great live band though, ive seen them 5 times and am not even that big a fan but they always kill.

That would be nice. I recently downloaded a 15 GB .rar full with screamo.

Yeah, that sucks. I'm still not sure if I should pre-order it.

Woah, damn. Why would you do that? ^^

Re: i$e's Magical Music Megapost

I like Converge and Botch but my favourite old school metalcore band is Coalesce. Such a sick band.

I prefer 0:12 Revolution in Just Listening over Jane Doe and We are the Romans. Call me crazy.

He has nearly every colourway and every variant of all their records. I think there's like, 3 variations he doesn't own which were limited to Converge's friends. He does have some friends presses, though.

Jane Doe, Romans, Calculating Infinity, even Give Em Rope by Coalesce were all amongst the first really 'heavy' albums I got into. Found them so much more brutal than death metal or whatever, and a lot more interesting. I still listen to them (except not Coalesce that often). Jane Doe clearly rules hard.

If you like Eyehategod, check out Iron Witch from Liverpool. Awesome band.

Screamo bands of the day- Shikari, Love Lost But Not Forgotten, Et Tu Brute. yes.
