True I suppose, but it still would have been useful :/. I had loads of essentials. I might just do the metal albums now, even if you dont agree with me at least other users might see it. I'll put the rest I was going to add later.

Def a good list overall.

Onward to Golgotha, Hvis Lyset Tar Oss, Obscura, None So Vile and The Inalienable Dreamless def deserve to be in the OP. Would most likely have been added over time. Ulver is already on there.

For the others, if I was going to include a Darkthrone LP it would be Transilvanian Hunger. Likewise, Tyrant by Thou is a lot better than Summit. Stormcrowfleet would be the only Skepticism LP in with a shot. I have no idea why Paragon Of Dissonance isn't on the list - I included it in my top 25 of 2011 and thought I'd transferred all of those into the OP already. I'll add that, fantastic album.

Turn Loose the Swans was already on the list for tomorrows update. Rest on yours are def good albums but not jumping out at me as required inclusions. Plenty more stuff to go on before then anyway.

all was good in that list until i saw Amon Amarth.

Also while i think there are really great albums, there are material than doesn't fit as classic at all and this is specially important seeing that are material that should or can be in the list ahead of them. For example i will put Scum or Seven Churches before any Gorguts or Ulcerate

Damn I forgot about Possessed.

Scum is severely overrated. I'm sorry but thats my opinion. The album is nowhere near as good as the classic its claimed to be. Did it have massive influence? Of course, it doesn't mean it lives to the hype though.

EDIT: Also Gorguts is one of the most original and forward thinking extreme metal bands that has ever written a riff. How can they be anything BUT classic?
