Yeah, I'll def expand, but put some recommendations up of your own for sure. Be interested to see what stuff you're into.

Thanks, man. I'll try to be diverse so that I'll cover some basics for all areas of Jazz.

Louis Armstrong - 25 Greatest Hot Fives & Sevens
Miles Davis - Kind Of Blue / A Tribute to Jack Johnson
The Quintet - Jazz at Massey Hall
Thelonious Monk & John Coltrane - At Carnegie Hall
Weather Report - Heavy Weather
John Coltrane - Giant Steps / Ascension
Herbie Hancock - Head Hunters
Albert Ayler - Spiritual Unity

(Note: This list is nowhere near to complete but for everyone interested in Jazz these are highly recommended )

For Respect and Don Cab 2 are incredible albums. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Got interested in any bands like Suis La Lune, City Of Caterpillar, Yaphet Kotto, The Birds Are Spies..., Hot Cross etc, and if so, any similar recs?

Love Ire and Song is amazing, but it's actually not my favourite Frank Turner. I actually quite prefer the new album (England Keep My Bones.) To Take You Home is wonderful, though.

Mannnnn, Love, Ire & Song is much better, IMO. Although I do like EKMB too, though.

I'm currently lightening to Noel Gallagher's new solo album and it's actually really good.

Great jazz list DJ, certainly some albums on there I would have added to mine.

You want hip-hop recommendations too? Plenty of stuff that easily belong in the essential list. A surprise for me is no Illmatic as it's most of the time (try 99%) the first album that shows up in "Must have hip-hop albums lists".

This is also one of my favourite ever live performances (from any artist).

Mule variations is my Favorite album of his alongside Heart of Saturday night, so much depth to his career that most artists today are lacking!

Could argue semantics of the selections all day long, my one disappointment, inclusion of sludge/doom genre but distinct lack of Kyuss.
