Re: i$e's Magical Music Megapost

The Early November - In Currents: Really like this album. Out of the recent stuff i've listened to its easily got the most play.

Beach House - Bloom: as snrub said this album is nice, not something i'll listen to a lot but very calming. Pretty good.

Circa Survive - Blue Sky Noise: Haven't listened to it as much but its excllent. Will have to download their latest album.

ANX - Dark Time Sunshine: Proof that there is always great hip hop out there if you look for it. Again, haven't listened to it as much as the others but something that will get a lot more play.

In Currents sounds great, what little I've listened to it. Canterbury's new album is pretty good too.

Re: i$e's Magical Music Megapost

Need to get on that Beach House album when I find the time, and some other stuff mentioned in here that demands a listen.

This thread needs some 'All time' favourite 10/20/40/50/More? songs lists, or a similar thread should be made, i'm intrigued to see some of your lists, I always find it easier to grow into an artist by hearing their best/most liked songs first rather than giving an album a play through from the first to last track.

Re: i$e's Magical Music Megapost

I might do genre lists because all time would be pain-strikingly difficult.

New Circa Survive

This album is streets ahead. Still sounds fresh and it was released in 1972. Miles Davis was the man. So many classic albums.

Re: i$e's Magical Music Megapost

Here's another monster album I listened to today.

Now I know Coleman might be different to listen to but I'd recommend it to any Jazz fan (if you have the time, because both volumes last over 2+ hours). It's easier to the ears than some of his other records.

Oh and @ the new Enslaved track. It totally forgot they are releasing a new album. Excited. There are many records I'm looking foward to and now this.

"... and all the pieces matter."
