Henry I know you're a big Stones fan, so I pose you this question...what's you're favourite Stones album?

I would say the best is Exile on Main Street but I listen to December's Children the most. As Tears go by is such an underrated record.


How about yourself? Also what is your fav Springsteen song out of interest?

I would have to agree with you on Exile, every song is brilliant. Really anything between 68 - 73 was pure gold, they were untouchable. I was listening to Goats Head Soup today and I think it's really underrated.

Agree on As Tears Go By too, amazing song. Gimme' Shelter is my fav Stones song though, and probably one of my fav songs ever made.

As for Springsteen, I would say Atlantic City I think.

Gimme Shelter might just feature the best intro to a song ever recorded, it's just wonderful. Plus it features during an awesome scene in Goodfellas amongst all the cocaine hoopla.

Atlantic City is one of the few Springsteen songs that I've never actually properly read the lyrics too - should probably get round to that at some point. As I've mentioned before, I find it hard to decipher the vocals until after I've read his words.

Ah yes, Scorsese knows how to use a Stones song or two lol.

The lyrics are great but I don't think they're his best. He's such a great story teller though it's hella tough to pick his best lyrics.

I always thought Exile was overrated, Sticky Fingers is much better.
