Re: i$e's Magical Music Megapost

From a lyrical standpoint I much prefer The Clash to The Beatles. Think Rolling Stones are a cut above them both though. Greatest band ever.

I hate how Led Zeppelin never get props for their songwriting. They mostly have the reputation for their music and of course Plant's singing. But they are great songwriters.

Re: i$e's Magical Music Megapost

Speaking of Great songwriters, anybody here heard of Crowded House? Neil Finn is by the far the most underrated songwriter of all time. Also Together Alone is IMHO the best pop-rock album of all time, just one brilliant song after the other

Edit, Case in Point (although from another album):

Springsteen's new album is awesome ya'll!

Talking of The Boss, was listening to it yesterday and The Rising is probably my favourite Bruce Album.

Yeah that's an amazing album too. Magic is one of my favourites too. I'm a big fan of his newer stuff actually, usually artists tend to get worse from my experience the longer they go on, but The Boss refuses.

Re: i$e's Magical Music Megapost

I love Tom Joad, though new boss is badass too. Like U2, Waits and Dylan they keep on releasing great work

Proud supporter of PWG, probably the best wrestling company in the universe. Probably.

Haven't listened to Magic yet but heard very good things.

I like the Tom Joad album, the title track in particular is truly masterful.
