Julia Holter is easily the best discovery I've made all year. Utterly utterly brilliant experimental artist. Makes some of the most unique music I've ever heard. Utterly beautiful album. Challenges Laura Stevenson's Wheel for Album of the year for me. If you haven't heard this album, you need to check it out.

fantastic album. Either that or Ulcerate's new one of the metal album of the year for me.

Got to see Tim Hecker live last night. Whole gig was really great, really dug the two supporting acts too though Hecker's set felt extremely short to me despite being 45 mins. Could have easily gone through a 90 minute set tbh. Still a great experience. I'd definitely recommend going to one of his gigs if you get a chance. Especially as it's more about the overall gig experience rather than just Hecker himself (at least the one I went to was).

Both are equally good in my view.

Would like to see you guys review Funcrusher Plus though. I loves me a retrospective review.
