Foals review for anyone who's interested. Solid album that's wobbly at times.

Can't say that i've ever been a fan of Foals, but you nailed it again with another solid review. Just having a very hard time getting into them, even the decent songs seem to turn sour on me everytime Yannis starts singing (don't like his vocals very much.) I did listen to Inhaler a while back and it wasn't bad.

Good job again on the review

btw: Just checked out my Morcheeba review you guys posted. Love the center pic of Skye Edwards. Appreciate the subtle edits too.

Re: i$e's Magical Music Megapost

No problem.

Think I'm going to start producing some low-dub electronica as a side project. My brother has all kinds of drum machines, synths and midi controllers, so why not?

Re: i$e's Magical Music Megapost

Go for it, man.

Been getting back into it too a bit lately, been experimenting with VSTi: viral outbreak mostly. VST a wavesequencing synth that provides a wealth of sound.. and beautiful sounding for ambient textures. It's very much like the Sylenth. They incorporate a random feature that lets it adjust parameters randomly .It gives it a very unpredictable sound, some of the synths are more traditional. This is just pure atonal sounds.

I just toy around with synths for fun these days, not putting too much thought in it since it's a huge investment and takes up a lot of your time and energy. Once you have the techniques down pat, it's pretty much down to letting your creativity flow.

Re: i$e's Magical Music Megapost

We re-designed the page layouts on the site. Looks really cool now imo.

For anyone into hardcore/post-hardcore/screamo

Also got our interview with Continents. back and it's amazing. Their answers are so in depth.

Shit is looking good for the site now.
