Let me ask you something you guys , do you listen to anything that isn't really old? At all?

I mean , yeah some old music is great but it seems almost like you guys have some "I listen to old stuff , even the not-so-good old stuff , and it means I'm smarter than everyone who doesn't" superiority complex going on with it or something? Its almost like by default... any music thats old is automatically better in your minds simply because it is old?

Old =/= good. New =/= bad. But it would almost seem you guys really do think all old music is by default superior and all new music is by default shit?!?!!

I also wonder how can anyone hang onto that stuff so long? I too like some old music , but old and new music both grow old and at some point I just have no desire to deliberatley play any given music anymore. If old music is old , that puts it even further down the list of out-played imo.

So its like , are you guys just really old and clinging to the past like its the side of a cliff you fell off? Or are you guys young guys who just discovered the stuff and all the old music isn't worn out to you yet cause to you its technically new?

Nah it's more a good music is good whether it be old or new. It's that simple. I am speaking for others here, but I'm pretty sure that's where they're coming from.

I love hearing good new music. For my ears, I have to search it out and/or people have to introduce me to it because modern pop/rock music is overall total shit.
