6/10 - nice chilled background tune.

Shangs are my favourite band but I understand that they are an acquired taste - their music has a particular energy to it which I find irresistible.

Hmmmm...6.5-7/10 Good song, but I didn't fall in love with it or anything.

7/10 - Solid track. The tune is scary similar to No Doubt's Don't Speak - particularly the opening or maybe I'm just getting carried away.

9/10- Their best song. It's very good music. This video sucks though as if that matters really. It's all about the music.

7.5/10 Very weird, very atmospheric. I think it'll grow on me.

As for Cranberries my fav song of theirs is Dreams but Zombie is great too.

And now for an all-out blast of energy:

6/10 - I found it annoying but it does have a haunting quality to it. It would work well in an obscure horror film or something..

7/10 On a related note, Vulgar Display of Power is one of my favorite album covers ever.

From Texas to New York, here's another band from that era.
