Re: Listen to Songs, and Rate Them x/10

This dragged a bit too much for me. It's got a nice beat that would definitely instigate some dancing, it's kinda catchy, but it's just far too long. If not in the context of a party or breakdancing battle, it just sounds like a bit of a chore to listen to, and the chorus starts to get real monotonous after a while.

So in the context of a party/get-together, 7/10. On its own, 4/10.

8.5/10 - Seether are a solid band and I own that 'One Cold Night' live set.

Re: Listen to Songs, and Rate Them x/10

While I'm surprised I don't find myself vilifying this for it being it being exclusively screaming, given that the voice on him actually has quite good clarity, it's still a bit of a mess due to the volume mixing. I could really only make out about 20% of all the lyrics in that song. That being said, however, the melodies of the instruments keep it up on its feet for the majority of it. It kept me from wanting to stop listening.

6/10, unless you have remarkably good hearing.

Iím vaguely familiar with Elliott Smith. I neither love nor hate this particular piece. 7.

To those who havenít watched all of Twin Peaks, I recommend not rating this. It's part of the experience. Itís awe-inspiring when seen within the context of the final episode.

Re: Listen to Songs, and Rate Them x/10

@AlienBountyHunter: Some really froot songwriting here, as well as fairly good melodies and vocals. However, it just doesn't seem like something that I'll be remembering anytime soon. Something about it just seems a bit uninspired, like I've heard it all before. Nonetheless, a good track within all of its categories. 7/10

@eyebrowmorroco: A very atmospheric track with an awesome vocal performance. It reminds me of something that may be found in film noir soundtrack, and the way it builds up throughout the first and second chorus is very well-structured. I really enjoyed the angst displayed through the emotion of the vocals and will certainly look into more of this artist. 9/10.
