Yeah, nice, I'm an idiot because I don't like your soft, weak music for pussies. Shut the hell up, kid.
Your an idiot because you tried to think your a know it all about everything as you always do ,when ya clearly don't know anything about the bands i posted ,you just took a snobby etliest tone like you always do.....Listening to metal doesn't make you more of a man you idiot.Get off your computer and go out to the real world and you'll be shown up for the pussy you are,not the hard man you think you are for listening to metal .

I don't have to be an expert on the bands you posted, you posted a song, I didn't like it, I rated it. The end. I'm the one who took a snobby, elitist tone? YOU'RE the one who flew off the handle when I didn't like your garbage.
I had no problem keeping this thread civil. God forbid if you get this uptight over something as trivial as music, you'll get your teeth knocked out if you get in an argument with the wrong person.

I definitely disagree that music is trivial, but the rest makes sense Pyro even if you two are both being pretty abrasive. There's no reason to ever get genuinely pissed at someone's opinion when dealing with something as subjective as music. Music is the epitome of subjective.
Let's put this petty shit behind us and continue to post songs and rate and discuss them in a civil manner.

But you acted like an expert when you said they where bland and generic, when Arctic Monkeys are probably the most distinct and revoultionary bands since the beatles.you acted like you knew them and called them generic. All your posts on these forums have a snobby ,know it all tone.

that's such a fucking opinion dude. honestly.
i've listened to dozens of bands that in my opinion, sound like Arctic Monkeys. and no, i will not for your benefit go back and try to look them up and find them and post them so you can tell me why they don't actually sound like the Arctic Monkeys.
i have no idea what is so distinct and revolutionary about them. i like them, but fuck, what grounds are they breaking?
the only really notable thing about them is that the internet pretty much produced their popularity, which, surprisingly enough, 5 or 6 years ago that was generally unheard of. but even then, they weren't the first to do it, and they weren't even the biggest to get off it.

QUIZ OF THE YEAR FIELDING & BRAND (BUT MOSTLY FIELDING) SWAG
Arctic Monkeys - the most revolutionary band since The Beatles? - the act who came up with such eloquent lyrics as "I bet you look good on the dancefloor"... lol.
Clash - White Riot - 7/10 - A real refreshing, rocking sound. Clash were awesome.
Best debut album opening track ever? I accept valiant challengers to the throne.

This is my opinion i only say this because how distinct the three albums albums are from each ,it's a way different sound on each album.whatever people say i am,Favourite worst nightmare and Humbug are probably the three most different sounding albums ever from the same band, while they still maintained an immense sound in all of them where Turner's lyrics just got better and better.Thats whats so distinct about them, they are revoloutionary in the sense of what they did for English indy music,it was in a slum and they turned it around with bands like the Liberteens too.
now if we could get back to the orginail point of the thread...............
