Re: Listen to Songs, and Rate Them x/10
2/10
Sounds painfully dull a lot of the time, and the lyrics sound so childish at times (at least for the subject it's trying to convey), it's almost kind of funny. The song itself goes on for way too long, for such repetition of monotone beats, and the music video doesn't help for having very little actually happen in it, and having a ridiculously squint aspect ratio.
LOL 10/10 but it seems catchy enough for the target audience it was intended for.
Seriously don't know what to think of this one, the video and lyrics are way out there but the music actually shows promise of a really good album.. Getting a strong Fever Ray and Kate Bush vibe.
3/10 - This music/video reminds me of a girl in high school who I wanted to slap. She was overly dramatic and annoying about things that were inconsequential.
Again for the song, I didn't like it, it was way too strange for me without displaying any musical talent.
As an example of strange with extreme musical talent, I present this song, which I do like a lot.

The dude seems very incoherent with his vocals; very muffled. That could be allocated to the quality of the video supplied, but most of the time, it really does sound like it's just him murmuring a lot of the lyrics. The melody is alright, but seems sort of lifeless. Maybe that was the mood he was trying to convey with the "winter" aspect of it all, but I'm not so sure. Overall, a fair effort, but not something I would like to listen to again.
^8.5/10. I like it. Catchy. Nice combination of the acoustic and singing. Phenomenal voice on him to be fair. I haven't heard too many Shinedown songs. This is one of their best from what I've heard. It's different.
