I downloaded Delta Machine a few minutes ago, and I'm currently up to My Little Universe. My favorite tracks thus far are Angel and Welcome to My World (the build up to the chorus in the latter is immaculate). I'm really loving the crisp and euphoric sounds on this album. "Spiritual" it definitely is. I'll probably post a full review of the album in the coming days.
Favorites atm are "Should Be Higher" and "Secret To The End", but sonically the whole album is quality.
Glad you're enjoying it, and a review would be cool. We need more people to spread the DM love on here.
EDIT: Is it just me, or does "Angel" sound like "I Feel You" from SOFAD?

With ya on that. Depeche Mode is such an underrated band. The Damien Sandow in me is on a quest to enlighten the dull masses of WF.
I had to listen to I Feel You a couple of times to pick up the similarities. They have the same chord progression, I believe.
chord progression could definitely be it, that's the first thing that struck out at me when hearing the track, this and the Heaven's jarring similarity to the Beatles's "While my guitar gently Weeps".
Don't think they're all that underrated, especially in Europe. I went to see them during the "Touring the Angel" tour, and the Bell Centre was sold out. I do think they get a bad rap for being an electronic based band, but unlike their contemporaries they actually lasted over 3 decades and still sound as good as they did 20 years ago.
Phantogram is producing some of the Charlie XCX, that alone tells you that the production should be nothing short of stellar. Other tracks were sampled though, like on the track "You" she samples Gold Panda's track of the same name.
It's a bit too teenie bopper for me to fully get into, but it has enough of that Grimes/Robin/Marina & the Diamonds/Lana vibe to make it enjoyable. I really like the Phantogram producted track "Stay Away" for the arrangement.
