Catchy but an average song. The 'Boyfriend' song was Bieber trying to be Timberlake but his music will never be as good as anything from Timberlakes 'FutureSex/LoveSound album.

Re: Official Pop Music Discussion Thread

The only reason Boyfriend is decent is because my boy Mike Posner wrote it and produced it. I thought the chorus or whatever was Posner when I first heard it.

I listened to As Long As You Love Me and think its awful shit. You want As Long As You Love Me? Here you go:

I did not and do not like Backstreet Boys. NSync all day.

And agree with regards to Timberlakes ability. So talented. Really hope he releases another Album.

lolbieber

It's just about time for a new TayLORD single + album. Each album of hers has been better than the one before it, so hopefully she can continue that trend with the upcoming fourth album. :taylor3

EDIT: Andddddd it looks like that trend is over.

Re: Official Pop Music Discussion Thread

Yeah after I first heard the single I thought it was really bad. Its like pure pop radio crap. I wouldn't be able to tell that it was Swift unless I was told that it was her. On second listen, its a catchy song. But I'm not positive about it. She wrote the entire of Speak Now, and it was a brilliant album. She has cowrites on this, and people are gonna collaborate. Its gonna be really poppy. With the release of this single, first impressions is a regression from Speak Now. Can't judge till the album comes out, but expectations took a knock.

And the song title. "We Are Never Ever Gonna Be Together". Are you kidding me? That's like the worst title ever.

Not sure if I've ever been more disappointed tbh. I don't get it at all. She's got heaps of talent, so there's no excuse for garbage like this. I'd like to say "the rest of the album will be better", but honestly, if THIS is the lead single, I don't really have much faith in that coming true.

One of Lana's newly unreleased tracks. Rumored to be on the rerelease. Really think the re-release will relaunch her US mainstream career.
