Anybody digging this album? About 5 tracks in and I'm really digging it. Hopefully its a good year for pop, because last year was pretty pathetic.

LOVED Lana Del Rey's album. I really dig her style.

On another note, I recommend ASTEROID GALAXY TOUR's new LP (Out of Frequency). It's an amazingly joyful and melodic pop-music from Danemark.

I can't wait till Adele drops her next album. Her last one was easily the best last year, shes definitely the best singer alive today.

Re: Official Pop Music Discussion Thread

Isn't Lana Del Ray the girl who performed on SNL and they called it the worst performance ever? I think thats her, it was pretty bad.

LOL Born To Die is an accurate title indeed.

Re: Official Pop Music Discussion Thread

You know I had to get Born to Die. I really do love her gimmick and her style. She's got a nice voice, and I love the orchestra that plays throughout the album. My personal highlights are Born to Die, Video Games, Diet Mountain Dew, National Anthem, and Radio.

In other news, I listened to Madonna's new single, and I was very disappointed. Her "L-U-V MADONNA" chorus makes the whole thing look desperate. It is not as enjoyable or as danceable as her previous singles.

Yeah, agreed. Video Games, the title track, and Off to the Races are wondeful. The first half is better than the second though.
