Born This Way is definitely not as good as The Fame Monster, but it's still pretty good.
As long as Gaga remains bat-shit insane I'm sure I'll love anything she releases.
...Hair is pretty effin awesome

meh. The Fame Monster was much better. a bunch of the choruses on this album sound the same. might keep 1 or 2 songs, but its totally forgettable. shame.

QUIZ OF THE YEAR FIELDING & BRAND (BUT MOSTLY FIELDING) SWAG
Born This Way is really disappointing to me after all the hype placed upon it. It's way too long and too many bad filler tracks ruin the few great songs (Judas, Hair, Marry The Night). I really liked You And I from her performance on American Idol as well as Haley Reinhart's rendition, but hearing the album version disappointed me. Overall an average to bad album for me.

In even better news.
We should just turn this into a Taylor Swift thread. I'll talk to myself like Bambikiller if I have to.
She looks so nice in that. Taylor in a schoolgirl outfit = large amounts of win. I thought it was a lot better than the Mean music video.
Also, though I kind of agree that Gaga's BTW is pretty middle of the road, The Edge of Glory is fucking amazing. One of the best Pop tracks of the year so far imo.

Re: Official Pop Music Discussion Thread
I thought I'd post this here; Lauri Ylönen (lead vocalist of Finnish rockers The Rasmus) has released a video for the second single off his debut solo album, New World. The song is called In The City and is one of the catchiest songs off the album.
It's nothing like The Rasmus sound, it's an electronic/pop/dance track.
Awesome song and a funny video. The puppet, who is called Amanda is brilliant.
