VS dont like big threads on the forums as it puts a strain on the servers apparently so here's a new thread.

Link to the old thread.

So, I finally got 'round to downloading The Best In Town by The Blackout. I've only heard the first two songs thus far, but man, this sounds amazing. ShutTheFuckUppercut is phenomenal.

I've been spinning "There Will Be Fireworks" debut self-titled album lately. I think they're from Scotland or something, so good though.

I been listening to the new Boys Like Girls track titled "Love Drunk". One of the catchiest songs I have listened to in past while. Went and got there self titled album and it is really good as well. Whole thing is pretty solid. Little different for me in terms of my usual music listening. Lyrics are all clean and it is kinda pop sounding but still good shit.

Why don't you just delete the old topic? As long as it still exists I imagine its still putting the same strain on the server?

I'm constantly listening to Dead By April's debut, self-titled album. I really think people should give Trapped, Losing You, What Can I Say and In My Arms a listen as these four tracks are the main highlights of the album, in my opinion. The way this band combines melodic metalcore with electronic sounds is incredible. I especially love the start to Trapped with this crazy electro/dance sound that immediately goes into a breakdown.

My second favourite album of the year but after more listens it may surpass The Devil Wears Prada.

1.Has anyone else noticied how big of a deal metal media (magazines , websites , etc) has been making Suicide silence out to be ever since their new album came out? (See example below)

I mean , it worked on me and I went out and bought "No time to bleed" and I do see how about half of it is awesome but I'm still struggling to love the other half of the album

Also I have no idea why they are on tour with the likes of Mudvayne and some other nu metal bands , that just makes no sense to have a nu metal tour with a deathcore band on the lineup

2.In other news Tooth and nail records is giving out this free song sampler with a bunch of stuff on it , some of its not even out yet (Some new song by Oh sleeper , and I think some other stuff too)

http://www.toothandnail.com/fuelsampler/index.php

Spoiler for tracklisting for free sampler:

And then there were none - Reinventing Robert Cohn
As cities burn - 84 sheepdog
August burns red - Thirty and seven
Becoming the archtype - Dichtomy
Children 18_3 - All my balloons (<-WTF?)
Copeland - The grey man
Corey Crowder - Look how far we've come
Emery - Cutthroat collapse
Family force 5 - Fever
FM Static - A boy moves to a new town with an optimistic outlook
Haste the day - 68
Hawk Nelson - Lets dance (Dojo dominating remix)
Ivoryline - Days end
Jonezetta - Sick in the teeth
Living sacrifice - Overkill exposure (Rough mix)
Mewithoutyou - Every thought a thought of you
MxPx - Punk rock girl
Mychildrenmybride - On the wings of integrity
Neon horse - Strange town
Oh sleeper - Son of the morning (Brand new song thats not even out yet)
Secret & whisper - Anchors (Acoustic)
Showbread - Nothing matters anymore
Since october - Guilty
Surrogate - Excercise machines
The ascendicate - Scottish
The chariot - Daggers
The crucified - The pit
The showdown - [Achilles] the backbreaker
Thousand foot krutch - Bring me to life
Trenches - Sacrament
Underoath - Desperate times , desperate measures

Theres at least a few good songs on there , the Underoath & Haste the day songs are great imo , The oh sleeper song is brand new and not even out yet so if anyones into them thats the new song for free , and theres a new August burns red song on there for free that just came out on their new album "Constellations" , plus a bunch of other stuff I have no idea about

They said there was something by The Almost on there but I don't see it anywhere

Once you unzip the file you can save whichever songs you want to your computer and leave the rest out

3.My thoughts on the aforementioned new Chevelle songs : Eh they're ok

4.I listened to the whole album by Adelitas way (The band that does the WWE superstars theme song) and its pretty nice , but I don't plan to buy it because regular rock n roll never seems to be able to hold my interest enough for me to own whole albums of plain rock
