I've never been a fan of either band, so heck if I know anything about this subject.

But I'm here to say that I've come across one helluva lot of better-than-you'd-expect unknowns in the last few months, especially some Southern Rock. Bands like Jet Black Stare, Black Stone Cherry and Fall From Grace have been playing non-stop on my iPod lately, and I recommend that anyone who likes the Southern Rock thing to try these bands out. Let me give some song recommendations for the 3 above mentioned bands:

Jet Black Stare - Ready to Roll, It's Over
Black Stone Cherry - Please Come, Soulcreek
Fall From Grace - Burned

Some good songs there if you like that kind of thing. I've also become addicted to Santana (The band. You know, the one with the legendary Carlos Santana) and I have to say that it's truly magnificent music. Any other Santana fans around?

I have seen Muse twice and it was amazing, they are behind only Alkaline Trio and Metallica as my favorite concerts.

I have a quick question, when did all the green day hate start? Considering all the terrible music that came out this year, I thought their new album was good. Was it when American Idiot came out?

I don't get the Green Day hate either. I still like it. Its miles better than that Boys Like Girls, and Jonas Brother crap.

Maybe because they changed their style since Dookie came out, people hated them.

Listening to a bunch of Nirvana. I'm really finding love for this band and the way they changed the world in the early 90's. Curently listening to Come As You Are which was Ravens theme song in WCW. I also found the song Lounge Act from the great album Nevermind to be one of those underated songs I never knew about but you could just tell they were inventing a new genre right there with that song. I love their version of David Bowies the man who sold the world from the unplugged mtv show.

How did they change the world according to you?

Nirvana is one of my favourite bands and Lounge Act is one of my favourite songs. Smells Like Teen Spirit is a good one but it's sooooo overplayed. And Kurt wrote that song just to write a "seller", he didn't even like it himself from what I have understood.

Another favourite of mine is Even In His Youth from the Hormoaning EP. I like the Incesticide album alot and the concept behind it. Kurt released it after Nevermind because he wanted to get rid of those mainstream fans that just liked them because it was the cool thing to do.

Who else just loves this band?
Tool is just awesome. They are extremly skilled musically in terms of instruments and their texts are very trippy and odd. Their lyrical themes are often of a mystical and spiritual nature and Im not talking in the sense of christianity.

They are truly one of a kind, in their sound and as a band.
