I know it leaked a week or two ago, but I got Slayer's new album today. Given it a few listens, and it's a good, solid album. Nothing spectacular but definately worth checking out. Can't wait to see them in a few weeks.

this weekend i bought Cynic's Traced in Air. Holy Sh*t! amazing album from top to bottom. Integral birth has became one of my fav songs, cant stop listening to it. For fans of Dream theater, Mastodon, Opeth, BTBAM, a must buy.

So I went to best buy to see exactly what all comes in The Almosts super ultra deluxe package thing

Anyway now that this album is out I can't even think of another album coming out this year so that might be the final new album of the year for me but I'm not sure

The second Dead By Sunrise single, Let Down had a video made a while ago. However, they opted to re-edit it and now the video has surfaced online and can be watched below.

Personally, I think it's a very good video and the fact Chester's wife, Talinda is in it makes the video even more meaningful. This track has some of the best lyrics off Chester's debut solo album and it really reflects the pain relationships cause. This song is about the first divorce Chester went through with his first wife and how he hopes never to be "led down the same old road" again with Talinda.

The visual effects in this video are great with the black sheets and the Dead By Sunrise logo in the background. It kind of reminds me of the New Divide video by Linkin Park. This is definitely better than the Crawl Back In video. I believe if this single is promoted well, it could do better than the first single and could become very popular.

Finally, I'm really excited to hear the track Intentions by We Came As Romans off their debut album. The reason being is Telle from The Word Alive sings on it, so I can't wait to get the album for Christmas.
