Anyone going to Metallica's Orion festival this year in Detroit? Anyone went last year when it was in Atlantic City?

I have a few concerns I want to discuss (hopefully there are people who know Detroit that can help me):

-The festival is at Belle Isle and has no onsite parking. Festival-goers can take a shuttle to the festival but I don't want to do that. Is is possible to taxi it to Belle Isle and walk to the festival site? (another concern: the shuttle requires you to have the festival pass, which I won't have on me because it's willcall, this of course depends on where willcall pick up is located)

-How was the festival if you went last year? Talk about the experience in detail

Only concert on the horizon for me outside of the potential of Enter Shikari is "Paganfest". No, I am not making up the title of the show either. It's an Ensiferum concert too. You'd think I'd be on tap to see, oh I don't know, Dimmu Borgir or something.
