Re: Official Rock/Metal Discussion Thread
It's going to be such a good live track. Massive gang shouts & when the drums first come in, people will get hurt. Guitar work is ridiculous.
I think the albums really benefited from just being those 4 dudes, no guest stars, outside producers, other songwriters etc - it feels a lot more focused and like 'their vision' rather than just good heavy music. Good variation on it, from melodic to heavy, fast and shreadding to slow and doomy. Coral Blue is another standout track, there's a lot of them on the record.
Got the We Came Out Like Tigers in the most ridiculous packaging ever today (screen printed wooden box, LP in thick card cover, A5 16 page lyric booklet, patch, personalised art card, wood slivers with album initials in an ancient tongue carved in).. this is my personal AOTY. Everything from music, atmosphere, lyrics ranging from anti-facism and government to family members fighting cancer, it just resonates with me. That band deserves to be huge.
