Indeed, it is. Life is Beautiful, Tomorrow, Dead man's Ballet, and Van Nuys are pretty great and deep. Their 2nd album This is Gonna Hurt is not that bad if you enjoy some elements of Fun Rock, though Goodbye My Friends is pretty deep and as pompous as it can get for a goodbye/funeral song.

I enjoy Hardcore.
If we are taking hardcore as a general genre and not with all the sub genres my favourites include Defeater, Weekend Nachos, Verse, More than life, Cursed, Infest, Punch, Hatred Surge etc.

In general my favourite is Defeater, its just been the one hardcore band that has stuck with me the past 2 years and I keep replaying. I don't know if its because of their accessibility or what, but yeah.
