Linkin Park updates!
Potential 30 second snippets of 3 tracks from the upcoming Linkin Park album, Living Things have surfaced. I haven't listened to these as I want to be surprised when I listen to this album for the first time but I'd be intrigued to know what you guys make of these. However, these snippets have been getting a lot of praise.

The links for those snippets have been taken down due to copyright, so they seem like legitimate snippets of the new tracks from Linkin Park's new album. They have been uploaded to Youtube, so if anyone does get a chance to listen to the snippets, I'd be intrigued to know your opinions as they have been getting positive feedback.

Re: Official Rock/Metal Discussion Thread
This video has now been uploaded where it shows snippets of Lost In The Echo, Skin To Bone, Castle of Glass and possibly Until It Breaks from Linkin Park's upcoming album, Living Things. I'm not going to listen as again, I don't want to spoil the album but thoughts and opinions would be appreciated.
Saw The Beach Boys live today as part of the Good Morning America Concert Series in NYC. Was very early in the morning, but very fun. The band were such a great act, and I was honored seeing legends of music perform. They performed tracks like “Help Me, Rhonda”, “California Girls”, “That’s Why God Made The Radio”, and “Good Vibrations”. I'm gonna try to do the same thing when The Backstreet Boys come around at the end of August (ya you heard me).
To be completely honest I hated it. This sounds just as experimental as their last two albums to me, and nothing really stuck it. I liked Hybrid Theory (first album I ever bought), but I can't like the new stuff. "Lies Greed Misery" is an awful track. Maybe its just me, and the fact that my musical taste changed so I didn't enjoy the screaming. "Burn it Down" is decent and easily the best track for me, "Castle of Glass" was okay, but that's it. But not really surprised, I gave up hope on this lot a while ago.
The Offspring's new album looks promising. Heard one or two tracks off of it, and it sounded great. New Aerosmith (finally) at the end of the summer too.
